A whimsical cold painted bronze crocodile – believed to be Vienna bronze, every detail is fun and fanciful, from the top hat on his head, the banded blue and gold patterned scarf billowing down his back, to his glowing golden eyes. The book he holds open features a fellow croc underneath a stand of palms, all resting on his tail. A strapped and buckled pouch rests at his waist, while he rests casually on his unfurled red umbrella. He’s hinged at the nape of his neck which opens to the inkwell (insert missing).
