This inkwell was made using Vaseline glass, known for its distinctive yellow-green color that fluoresces under UV light due to its uranium content. The daisy and button pattern on the body is a classic design, featuring small button-like circles surrounded by daisy-like floral motifs, giving it a textured and intricate appearance. The metal lid is adorned with an ornate bird finial – a parrot or a parakeet based on its detailed feathers and upright posture.
