An etui writing set with a traveling inkwell. The outer casing is nickel with a spiral design. The hook over the top releases the lid to the inkwell. Inside the lid, when opened, allows the glass ink bottle inside to slightly sprung outward. When closed and the hook is pulled back in place, the bottle is sealed by the stopper inside.
Inside are stored: a dip pen, a cedar pencil, and a pen knife (quill cutter). The pencil and pen pull out, and when reversed fit back in their shoulders to make a full-sized tool. The tools have matching spiral handles.
