Victorian traveling inkwell in the form of a top hat . It is covered with black silk and has a cloth hat band.  A concealed button releases the hinged lid. A second lid inside flips open when the lever is pressed. The lid has a leather stopper to seal the glass ink bottle when in transit.

Sold for $110 in November 2024
