This mid-19th century ink bottle is teal or aqua green in color. It’s an umbrella-shaped ink bottle, featuring an octagonal base that tapers upward to a narrower neck. There is a pontil mark (scar left when the glassblower detaches the bottle f r om the pontil rod). The are small air bubbles (seed bubbles) trapped within the glass.
