This bronze inkstand features a recumbent lamb resting in front of a log. The log is intricately detailed to mimic the natural texture of wood, complete with grooves and knots. The top of the log is hinged, allowing it to open and reveal two inkwells inside. Inside the inkstand, there is a handwritten message: “In memory of June 8th, 1898, from a friend.”
