This is a white metal pocket watch chain which has a T bar at one end and a dog clip at the other. The links are tubes decorated with chased detailing and have a chain running through them to keep them joined. Each tube can fit inside the other to form a solid rod. One then pulls out the end tube to reveal a nib, which one reverses and slip into the end to form a dipping pen. Attached to the T bar by means of another dog clip is a little screw top ink bottle. This detaches from the pen, ready to use with the pen. The base of the inkwell is stamped Patent NLF.

Sold for $126 in June 2024. Another sold for $180 in July 2025.
