A bird and her nest rests at the top of this bronze inkstand. A mouse is crawling up the side of the nest. Below the nest are twining vines, leaves, berries, and florals. The center floret is removable and acts as a wax seal. The separate lids covering the two glass inkwells have finials of leaves and florals.
