Marble inkstand with a gold gilt bronze eagle, wings spread, perched protecting a flag. On either side of the eagle are receptacles for inkwells with hinged lids. One glass insert is missing.
The inkstand measures 11” long by 7” deep with an overall height of 7” to the top of the eagle’s wings. The eagle has a wingspan of 10” and is 4 ¼” tall.
