Patent Patented October 13, 1874, by Charles L. Lochman of Carlisle, PA.

An aqua-colored glass ink bottle in the form of an early locomotive. On one side is embossed: PAT OCT 1874. Embossed on the opposite side: TRADE MARK. This bottle was made using a “snap case” (BIMAL) – Blown in a mold with an applied lip.

Sold for $1349 in March 2024 / Sold for $978 in August 2025
