Lock-Down Traveling Inkwell

This rectangular traveling inkwell has a sterling silver mount which is set on a crystal body. It has a key screw to secure the lid. The inside of the lid has a leather seal fixed by a plain silver plate. The exterior is ornately decorated. The central cartouche is made of gold and is engraved with an armorial crest. The glass inkwell has a star-cut base. The silver is hallmarked.
