This is a silver-plated inkwell in the form of a detailed lion’s head. The piece is crafted from a base metal with a silver plating.
- Figural Lion Head: The inkwell is sculpted entirely as the head of a roaring lion. The features are detailed, with a magnificent mane with flowing strands, powerfully sculpted facial features including a pronounced snout, open mouth revealing teeth, and expressive eyes.
- Inkwell: The top of the lion’s head is hinged, opening to reveal a circular glass well designed to hold ink. The hinge is located at the back of the head.
