This inkwell features a bird, which looks like a kingfisher, perched on a branch. The bird is beautifully detailed with a blue-green head, a long beak, and a chest adorned with orange and brown feathers. Next to the bird is a walnut, which is textured to look realistic. The walnut is hinged, allowing it to open and reveal the inkwell inside.
