• The Top/Lid (Hat):
  • Features a Campaign Hat / Slouch Hat (often referred to as a “Montana peak” style hat), identifiable by its high, rounded crown and wide brim with a slight curl at the edges.
  • Details include a carved hatband tied with a cord/strap motif at the back, complete with small trailing ends, as well as a small side emblem or vent plug motif set into the crown.
  • The interior of the hat is hollowed out with a smooth, recessed cavity designed to fit snugly over the wooden collar surrounding the glass insert.
• The Base (Trunk/Luggage):
  • Shaped like a classic traveling trunk or suitcase with rich carved relief detailing.
  • Features two full perimeter straps with carved buckles, strap loops, and realistic hole punch details.
  • Includes a carved escutcheon plate (lock) centered on the front face, stamped or carved with an “L” (likely an owner or maker’s initial) surrounded by faux rivets.
  • The side faces feature relief-carved u-shaped drop handles framed by mounting brackets.
