This hand-carved inkstand features a cat in a seated position, with its front paws resting on a pen tray incorporated into the carving. The detailed carving of the fur texture, color variations, and glass eyes give the cat a lifelike appearance. The cat’s head is hinged and opens to access the inkwell.
