This sterling silver lock-down travel inkwell in a cylindrical or drum shape was made in London in 1814. It is hallmarked with “TW” (most likely Thomas Wright, reg’d. 1778); a lion passant; a crowned leopard head; an upper case “T”, the date mark for 1814; and a right-facing George III (1726-1821).
