A traveling inkwell shaped as an egg. Open the egg and find a glass inkwell that unscrews from the base. On the inkwell’s lid are engraved two crossed revolvers. Between the guns are the letters E and G. At the top is engraved “434 M.S.” At the bottom: “1859 REGd”. I am guessing this is an English piece that was registered in 1859 and have no guesses about the origin of the crossed revolvers symbol.
