This ornate openwork brass double inkstand features an eagle with wings spread, perched on a hinged storage compartment. On either side are inkwells with square well covers with urn finials. Made in the Italian Renaissance style, a cherub’s face adorns the front, two other faces on the sides, hoof feet. There is a pen holder in front.
