Manufacturer Carter's Ink
Origin United States
Date or Era circa 1880
Measuring 2 ⅝” diameter; 2 ½” high

What’s unusual about this teal glass conical ink bottle is that “CARTER’S” is embossed on the neck ring.

Pictures of a second example added. The glass is a deep teal, also embossed on the shoulder ring “Carter’s, and is marked on the bottom with “X”.  It is hand blown and has a single ring-tooled lip, a slightly whittled surface, and is full of bubbles in the glass.

Sold for $109 in September 2024

Deep teal sold for $250 in October 2025
