This hard rubber inkwell is carved on top with SGT. M. H. NAJAC 10 R. I. I. Lt. Munson Najac served in the 1st, 10th, and 12th Rhode Island infantry where he became a lieutenant. There is a notation that he served with the seventh US colored infantry, but no record found.
