Figural cat inkwell, detailed with original glass eyes. This cat has an excited expression on its face with eyes wide open and tongue to the side of its mouth. He’s wearing a bib anticipating a delicious meal. This wooden inkwell is composite, not carved. The cat’s head is hinged and lifts to access the inkwell. The bib would have held pens or miscellaneous desk items.
