This hand carved inkstand is marked “Mürren”, a popular Swiss resort village. This inkstand was likely a souvenir. It features a rooster, hen, and baby chick, each with glass beaded eyes. One either side are a matching pair of glass inkwells with carved wood lids.

Sold for $125 in February 2024
