Carved figural cat’s head with glass eyes. This inkwell looks to be a crosscut of a tree branch. The head is hinged, opening to access the inkwell (missing here). This looks to be a Tabby cat with black stripes. The head is finely carved, showing individual hairs of his fur. There is a hole behind his mouth to hold a pen.
