A bronze inkstand set on a triform base with paw feet. Three dolphins set on their heads with their tails twisted and holding the inkwell. The rim of the bowl is decorated with an engine-turned leaf and dart design. Lift the lid to access a porcelain inkwell, sander, two holes for pens, and a recess for storage.
