A bronze camel’s head inkwell rests between two silver plated pen holders in the form of lances mounted on a footed oak stand with crescent shaped insignia resting on three brass feet. The camel’s head is finely molded and fitted with silver plated harness. The lances have fittings to hold two pens. This piece was likely associated with military – possibly the Imperial Camel Lancers or Indian (Bikaner) Camel Lancers.
