This traveling inkwell is an oval-shaped brass box with a domed lid. Inside, it has three lift-out compartments: an inkwell on the left side with a sliding circular lid, a pounce holder (blotting powder) on the right side, and a central square storage section with a hinged lid for holding nibs, seals, wax, and other writing accessories.
