Black marble inkstand featuring two ducks with bone beaks, as though perched at the side of a pond (pen tray). This objet d’arte has two square inkwells with glass liners. André Villien, a French sculptor who worked in Paris between 1905 and 1924, may be the artist, but the piece is unsigned.
