This inkstand features a hand-carved, anthropomorphic fox standing upright on its hind legs. The fox is detailed with a satchel strap over its shoulder. In front of the fox, there is a pen holder. The base of the inkstand is also elaborately carved, representing rocks or terrain. The glass inkwell is held in a stump and has a pine branch cover.
