This inkwell features a French poodle, with meticulous attention to detail in capturing the dog’s curly fur and expressive face. The poodle’s head serves as a hinged lid, which, when opened, reveals another hinged cover. This secondary cover provides access to the porcelain insert where ink is stored. The inkwell is set on a circular base, which includes two pen holders.
