This Black Forest owl inkwell is intricately carved from wood, showcasing detailed feathers that vary in texture across its body. The feathers on the face and chest are softer and more rounded, while those on the head and wings are sharper and more defined. The owl’s eyes are made of amber colored glass. The beak is short and curved. The top half of the inkwell is hinged and opens to access the inkpot.
