The three owls pictured here all resemble a Boreal Owl, known for its distinctive wide eyes. Their eyes are made of glass. Their bodies feature detailed feather texturing, with individual feathers sculpted in a layered pattern. The heads are hinged and open to access the inkwell.
Owl #1 rests on a black turned wood base. Dimensions: 7” x 5 ¾” x 5” high. It sold for $192 in April 2021.
Owl #2 rests on a square granite base. Dimensions: 5” x 5” x 4” high. It sold for $89 in July 2024
Owl #3 rests on a black pedestal base. Dimensions: 3 ½” high. It sold for $175 in June 2016.
