The outside covering of this spherical travel inkwell is black with white clovers / flowers scattered across its surface. The button in the front, when pressed, allows the lid to open. Inside, there is another lid covering the ink bottle. A little metal clasp fits over the rim of the lid. When that is pushed to the side, the lid springs open to access the glass ink bottle inside.
