Late 19th Century bronze spaniel, with a unique hinged movable mouth, sits on a polished piece of ebony marble supported in the four corners by acanthus styled feet. The inkwells (marked Sengbusch) are not of the period and are assumed to be replacements. The bronze lids sit loosely on top of the inkwells.
