Bronze double inkstand featuring a dog and puppies. The flat square lids pivot on pins to open. A mother and six puppies in high relief decorate the pen tray. In the center, between the inkwells, is a compartment with a recumbent dog on the lid. The piece is numbered “4580” both on the underside of the lid and the bottom of the inkwell.
