Two similar examples – both dogs are examples of Black Forest hand-carvings. Both are sitting, with front paws forward. Both are carved in exquisite detail – snouts with teeth, ears, collars, fur. Both have glass eyes. Heads are hinged to access the inkwell (missing on the smaller one).

Estimated value: $100 each
