Figural schoolhouse or cabin ink bottle from the 1880s with bold, embossed windows on 3 sides and a door on front panel. Hand blown in mold with a smooth base, hand-tooled square ring lip, clear glass, square with sloped roof shoulders and no chips or nicks. A nice clean bottle with no haze. This is an example of American glasshouse made ink bottles dug in Illinois and Ohio. Guaranteed not English.
