This Black Forest hand-carved wooden shoe inkwell intricately carved to resemble an old worn shoe, complete with laces, worn areas, and stitching patterns. The portion that looks like a sock stuffed into the shoe is a hinged lid that opens to reveal the inkwell. Additionally, the toe box or vamp area at the front of the shoe is also hinged. This section can be opened to store small items such as stamps, nibs, or other writing accessories.
