Glazed and enameled earthenware inkstand in the form of two handled urns on a plinth, enamel-decorated with pastoral scenes. Impressed “WEDGWOOD”, signed “E Lessore” (Emile Lessore 1805 -1876).
Note: Queen’s ware is a type of light earthenware with a brilliant glaze developed from creamware by Josiah Wedgwood and named in honor of his patroness, Queen Charlotte.
