This Vaseline glass double inkstand is made of a yellow-green glass that is characteristic of Vaseline glass, which contains uranium and glows under ultraviolet light. The inkstand has two inkwells, each with a faceted lid. The lids are octagonal and have a reflective, multi-faceted design.
