Turkish Ottoman Silver Inkstand

The inkwells are in the form of two pinecones issuing from leafy branches on an openwork repousse and appliqué base with four legs. Each cone is hinged to allow access to the interiors, both of which show traces of ink residue. The set is made from 800 grade solid silver.
