An inkstand with a central handle designed as two entwined dolphins with gilt scale decoration and a gilt border around the base. The two inkwells were locally painted with pink roses and other flowers, highlighted by gold detailing and trim.

Swansea porcelain was produced by the Swansea Pottery in Wales between 1814 and 1826. Known for its high-quality craftsmanship, Swansea porcelain often featured detailed painting and gilding. These pieces were highly valued by the British aristocracy for their elegance and intricate designs.
