This brass inkwell is designed in the shape of a hat with a flat, circular brim adorned with intricate concentric patterns, mimicking the texture of a woven or straw hat. The crown, which holds the inkwell, is also decorated with similar detailed patterns. A small hinge on the side of the crown allows the top to be lifted to access the glass inkwell inside. Enhancing the hat is a ribbon with a bow placed around the crown.
