Presented is a solid sterling silver inkwell by the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company of London. It has a date letter hallmark for 1907 but the inscription to a vicar and his wife on top of the lid is for 1917. The inkwell is hallmarked in 3 different places and has a glass liner as well as a glass ink pot. The liner and pot are removable. The inkwell has fluted sides and a reeded base.
