This sterling silver capped inkwell features an elaborate Native American Indian Chief in headdress. The hinged lid tops a square crystal inkwell with a starburst design cut in the underside.
Unger Brothers, a premier American silver maker, operated in Newark, NJ from 1872 – 1910, and were known for their intricate Art Nouveau designs.
