This sterling silver and glass desk tidy from 1906 features an integrated inkwell at the front, which has a round, flat lid. The rear compartment, designed for letters or storage, is crafted with glass sides and back. The decorative silver border was fashioned with intricate quatrefoil cutouts. This piece is hallmarked for John Grinsell of Birmingham and dates to 1906.
