This sterling silver mounted deer hoof taxidermy inkwell has English hallmarks (Birmingham) and dates to 1916. An arched silver stand holds the deer hoof. The lid bears an engraved inscription: “Devon and Somerset Found Deer Park Killed Hoar Park 1916.”
