Celtic knots are patterned and interlaced designs that trace their roots back to the Celtic civilization, which thrived around the beginning of the second century. These knots are characterized by their continuous looped designs, showcasing forms without a definitive start or end. Unlike other lace patterns with loose ends, Celtic knots symbolize eternity, unity, and interconnectedness. Over time, Celtic knots have become fundamental symbols of Irish heritage.
