Pyramid shape with sawtooth edges and cut corners at the base, and a cut starburst and grid pattern on the bottom. The hand-chased repousse hinged silver lid with floral motif has no monogram. This inkwell was made by Theodore Foster & Bros from Providence, Rhode Island. It is hallmarked “F&B inside a flag + Sterling + 1410” (model number).
