Souvenirs in the form of a shoe were popular – equating travel with the need for good shoes. Here are two examples. One depicts the Münchener Kindl (Munich Child) for the city of München (Munich) and the other depicts the Rathaus (City Hall) for the city of Rothenburg o T (Rothenburg ob der Tauber). The same manufacturer produced both shoes – the same mold only with different lids for the featured tourist destination. One can find the same shoe for other cities, including Meran, Tirol and the Crystal Palace in London.

Estimated value: $50 each
