Vintage brass skull, stamped on the bottom “Made in Germany.” Perhaps made as a “Memento Mori” piece (“remember you must die”) that serves as a reminder of death and mortality. Or perhaps made for those with a taste for the macabre. Typical of a skull are its sunken eyes, missing teeth and skull fracture lines.
